Join Skagit Beat the Heat on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008 when we go before the county commissioners to urge them to adopt a resolution acknowledging the need to prepare now for the challenges of both climate change and peak oil and to request they appoint a task force to assess the county’s vulnerabilities. We are scheduled for 10 AM, 1800 Continental Place, Mt. Vernon. The more folks who show up the better so please come and let the commissioners know you’re concerned and want action!
